Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service by being friendly, approachable and responsive to customer queries and concerns
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or concerns
  • Carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance of reverse vending machines and sorting equipment to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively
  • Monitoring the recycling centre for any hazards and reporting concerns as they arise
  • Contributing to the achievement of centre targets and objectives by meeting performance expectations and adhering to company policies and procedures

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 25kg
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
