About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Parramatta. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication management, to promote our customers' independence and dignity.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and helping to alleviate stress and anxiety.
  • Provide social support and transport to appointments, ensuring our customers can access essential services and maintain their health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with our customers, their families, and our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Requirements
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to customers' homes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, families, and colleagues.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our customers.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work additional shifts as needed.
