About the Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled cleaning professional to join our team in providing top-notch cleaning services to our valued clients, including Aged Care and NDIS customers, in their own homes on a regular basis.

This role offers the chance to work independently or with a partner, setting your own schedule to suit your lifestyle. Our contractors have reported high job satisfaction rates due to the flexibility and autonomy this position provides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean rooms thoroughly, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up large objects from the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
  • Clean restrooms, including replenishing dispensers, emptying trash, sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Use disinfectants and sanitizers to maintain high hygiene standards in all areas.
  • Dispose of trash and replace liners as needed.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Transport dirty linens to the laundry room.
  • Restock rooms with clean linens.
  • Maintain adherence to sanitation guidelines at all times.
Requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills, with preference for Greek and Italian language speakers.
  • A reliable vehicle for traveling between client homes per shift.
  • A mobile phone with internet access.
  • An up-to-date police clearance.
  • An Australian Business Number (ABN).
  • A minimum of 12 months of house cleaning experience, with additional training provided if necessary.
  • A Triple COVID-19 vaccination is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Availability of 3-5 days per week, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours only.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Experience working with domestic cleaning support for Aged Care and NDIS clients in their homes is not essential but desirable.
