Job Description:

  • Set up machinery in line with the daily production plan
  • Operate processing lines and related equipment safely
  • Identify and report hazards, near misses, and incidents
  • Troubleshoot issues: clear jams, resolve faults, and respond to breakdowns
  • Ensure incoming materials meet required specifications
  • Verify that finished products meet quality standards
  • Accurately read and record batch and production information
  • Support general cleaning of the facility and equipment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current forklift license (preferred)
  • Experience working in the food manufacturing industry (essential)
  • Background in a production or manufacturing environment — dairy experience highly regarded
  • Experience operating filling machines and related equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good reading, writing, and documentation abilities
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
  • Solid problem-solving skills
