Project Delivery Expert

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced project delivery expert to lead the successful execution of complex engineering projects. Key responsibilities include developing and managing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to drive project delivery.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project strategies to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and subcontractors to coordinate and oversee work.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to key stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain strict adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a project delivery expert in the defence industry with a focus on below-the-line projects.
  • Expertise in utilising ASDEFCON or similar tendering and contracting templates.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to develop and execute complex project plans.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
