Job Description:

">Guest Relations Manager

The Guest Relations Manager leads a team of local culture and heritage experts to provide personalized service to all guests. They are responsible for managing The Living Room in a manner that upholds quality and best practices.

The Guest Relations Manager designs and conducts tours of the property, including storytelling about the history of the building. They continuously innovate and design engaging travel experiences within and around the hotel, providing expert advice on experiences aligned with company values.

They collaborate closely with the Chief Culturist on programming Daily Rituals, Moments & Curates to deliver new product offerings. The Guest Relations Manager ensures Forbes standards are upheld in daily operations and that Capella Rituals/Moments are well executed and programmed.

Talent Profile/Qualifications
  • A degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in a similar luxury-hospitality role is required.
  • Concierge experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong guest relationships are essential.
  • Very good command of spoken and written English is required.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (e.g., OPERA) is an asset.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is necessary.
  • Valid working rights in Australia are required.
