Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Drill and Grouting Operations Manager at Webuild S.p.A. for the Snowy 2.0 project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage drill and grouting operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with engineering and project teams to align activities with project timelines and objectives.
  • Monitor progress, assess equipment performance, and make adjustments to optimize efficiency and quality of drill and grouting operations.
Team Leadership and Training
  • Lead and manage the drill and grouting teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their competency and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a strong safety culture and minimizing accidents or incidents.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and promote professional development within the teams.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on drill and grouting operations, spoil management activities, and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain records of plans, spoil transportation permits, disposal receipts, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress, spoil management challenges, and recommendations.
Other Key Accountabilities
  • Comply with Webuild S.p.A. policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
  • Comply with Webuild S.p.A. WHS policy and procedures as amended from time to time.
  • Work collaboratively in both an inter and intra departmental manner.
  • Comply with Webuild S.p.A. policy and directives as amended from time to time.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Undertake works in a manner that is consistent with the overall Project goals and meets the timeframes specified in the Project schedule.
