Financial Risk Manager

As a seasoned Credit Risk Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing credit risk on behalf of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sydney-based team and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse loan and derivative portfolio, consisting of financing corporate and financial institution counterparties across a range of products.
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis and portfolio management of other corporate and FI counterparties, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies are implemented.
- Represent our organization in high-level conference calls, business meetings, and management committees, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Monitor target markets, undertake thorough due-diligence calls and visits, and develop tailored counterparty-specific de-risking strategies.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in credit risk, with a strong understanding of loan documentation and ISDA principles.
- Proven expertise in risk management for leveraged/structured transactions, with a keen eye for identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Exceptional knowledge of principal risk mitigating techniques and excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
