We are seeking an experienced professional in mine planning to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the execution of dragline design strategies and prepare pit designs, dig sequencing, and reserves.
\The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in open-cut coal operations and specialisation in dragline and dozer push planning and optimisation. They will hold a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline and minimum 5 years' experience in mine planning with a focus on dragline and dozer operations.
\Key Responsibilities:\- Lead the execution of site-wide dragline design strategy across various planning horizons.\
- Prepare and present pit designs, dig sequencing, and reserves to stakeholders.\
- Drive performance and continuous improvement through management of performance, problem solving, and improvement projects.\
- Strengthen team capability through people development and training on dragline and dozer-specific principles and software.
