About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at NewyTechPeople. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, creating, testing, and documenting new or amended AWS & Azure workloads, applying best practice methodologies and industry-recognised systems, processes, and standards to meet defined business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, create, test, and document new or amended AWS & Azure workloads
  • Apply best practice methodologies and industry-recognised systems, processes, and standards to meet defined business needs
  • Identify, analyse, prioritise, and implement improvements and efficiencies to maximise value from services
  • Integrate and test components, systems, and their interfaces to create operational services
  • Maintain and monitor tools to ensure the software is configured and working efficiently and to the agreed security standards
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology
  • At least three years of recent experience working with AWS
  • Strong knowledge of Sec Dev Ops practices and tools
  • Demonstrated experience with effective CI/CD and optimisation
  • Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Bitbucket
  • Experience with Configuration & Secret Management practices and tooling
  • Capable of building, designing, and maintaining cloud native or containerised solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
