The role of a mid-level Android Developer is pivotal in the creation of fan engagement apps for prominent sports organizations.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled developer with expertise in Kotlin, Java, and AndroidX libraries/components to join our team in Melbourne.

  • Deliver high-quality Android applications through production experience totaling 3+ years.
  • Develop proficiency in modular app architectures, scalable builds, and dependency injection using Hilt/Dagger.
  • Utilize knowledge of networking protocols (Retrofit/OkHttp) and data persistence techniques (Room, DataStore).
  • Apply coroutines for efficient task management and implement strong UI frameworks for engaging user experiences.
  • Work with Firebase, Google Play Services, authentication providers, and third-party SDKs to enhance application capabilities.
  • Maintain a focus on code quality through rigorous testing (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso) and deliver performant apps.
