Lead Android Software Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Android Software Engineer to oversee the development of high-quality native Android applications.

This role involves leading a team of engineers in shaping architecture decisions, delivering new features, and contributing to technical standards. You will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, driving best practices, and ensuring our apps are fast, stable, and user-friendly.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable architecture for Android applications
  • Collaborate with designers on bespoke UIs and integrate complex third-party data APIs
  • Contribute to technical standards, drive best practices, and mentor junior engineers
  • Maintain and improve existing codebase, ensuring high performance and stability

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

  • Languages & Frameworks: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multi-platform Mobile (KMP)

Requirements
  • Strong experience building and shipping Android applications using Kotlin
  • Familiarity with Kotlin Multi-platform Mobile (KMP) or a strong interest in learning it
  • Experience designing scalable architecture and integrating third-party APIs
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies
  • A strong understanding of Android SDKs, system architecture, and performance optimization
  • Ability to mentor others and support team-wide knowledge sharing
