About the Opportunity
Ventia is seeking a SHEQ Advisor to join our team as part of the SA Gas Distribution contract. Partnering with the project leadership team, this role is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and governance of Group and Sector SHEQ programs, systems and processes.
This is a permanent full-time position based at Adelaide.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the SHEQ management plan, policies and project procedures.
- Participate in auditing processes to monitor effectiveness of risk controls.
- Lead and manage ICAM and Serious incident investigations and drive learnings into the site and wider business, if required.
- Actively participate in workplace and project communication forums and meetings.
- Ensure actions from inspections, audits, incident investigations, staff meetings and workforce meetings are captured and followed through until closed out.
Essential Requirements:
- Formal qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
- A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a safety / environment or relevant industry role.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Audit qualification and experience.
- ICAM qualifications.
