Electrical Apprenticeship Career Path

About the Role

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be involved in various tasks such as performing preparation work and installation of cable pathways and supports, installing electrical and communications cabling, identifying and terminating electrical and communications cabling, and assisting in testing of installed cabling systems and associated equipment.

Key Requirements
  • Possess a commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship in Certificate III Electrotechnology.
  • Hold a current Driver's Licence with reliable transport.
  • Have a Construction General Induction (White Card).
  • Have completed Year 10 or higher education.
  • Show motivation, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and enthusiasm in attendance.
  • Adhere to safe work requirements.
  • Follow directions and perform tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Contribute to achieving desired outcomes and a positive work culture.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
