Our team is seeking an experienced software developer to support the development and maintenance of high-performance applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and low-level system concepts, with experience in C and C++ development.

A key responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain software components that interact with low-level system resources, legacy interfaces, and modern integration layers.

This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy and modern components.

Australian Citizenship with Baseline security clearance is required for this position.

Job Description

As a senior software developer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining software components using C and C++.
  • Optimising code for performance, memory usage, and system stability.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues across platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy and modern components.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in C and C++ development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and low-level system concepts.
  • Experience with memory management, pointers, concurrency, and multi-threading.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS internals and debugging tools.
  • Australian Citizenship with Baseline security clearance.
