Seeking a Clinical Academic Leader

The University of Wollongong is seeking a highly experienced medical professional for the role of Co-Academic Program Director (Clinical) within the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.

This senior academic leadership position provides clinical leadership and works in partnership with the Co-APD to manage all clinically related aspects of the program.

About the Role

You will contribute to governance of the MD Program, lead clinical curriculum design and delivery, oversee clinical placements, and ensure best practices in clinical learning and teaching.

As the lead medical practitioner representing the MD program in university and external settings, you will play a critical role in shaping graduate outcomes and maintaining national medical education standards.

About You

You will hold unrestricted medical registration and postgraduate qualifications in a medical discipline, along with a current or anticipated specialist appointment with primary employment at ISLHD.

A strong commitment to ongoing professional practice, experience in curriculum delivery/development within a medical school or medical training environment, and proven leadership in medical education are essential.

  • Maintain best practices in clinical learning and teaching
