Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Specialist to join our team at ClearCompany in the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services, including inpatient and outpatient care, bronchoscopy, and lung function reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical services to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders
- Perform bronchoscopy and other special procedures, including endobronchial ultrasound, pleuroscopy, and rigid bronchoscopy
- Participate in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice
- Contribute to clinical research and development within the department
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent
- Procedural skills to independently perform bronchoscopy and other special procedures
- Sound clinical knowledge in Respiratory Medicine and experience managing patients with Lung Cancer and Pleural pathology
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working with and leading multidisciplinary teams
- Significant experience in clinical research and commitment to evidence-based best practice
