Expert HR Advisor Sought

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist HR guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and separation
  • Oversee cyclical HR processes including contract management, compliance reporting and award interpretation
  • Ensure adherence to Fair Work legislation, NES and relevant industrial instruments
  • Lead and guide HR staff in delivering high-quality, consistent service
  • Advise and support leaders on various employee relations matters such as performance concerns, investigations and workplace conflict resolution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure people practices align with organisational objectives and regulatory obligations
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with best practice and legislative changes
  • Maintain data integrity across HRIS platforms and generate accurate reports and workforce insights

About You:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field
  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in a senior HR advisory or business partnering capacity, preferably within education or complex sectors
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Australian employment law, ER/IR frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Proven success in leading and mentoring HR professionals
  • Advanced capability in award interpretation, policy development and operational HR practices
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Display a high level of discretion, integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data reporting
