Learning and Development Support Specialist

We are seeking a caring and energetic Education Support worker to join our team. As an Education Support Worker/Teaching Assistant, you will support the delivery of a quality learning and teaching program at a friendly independent school.
You will work collaboratively with teachers and therapy professionals to support students who are living on the Autism Spectrum. Your role will involve working with a variety of class groups, small groups, and individual students on days that suit you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapy professionals to support students
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' learning and development
- Provide individual and group support to students as required
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III or above in a relevant field. You must also have a current Working with Vulnerable People/Working with Children Registration and a recent Tasmanian Police History Check.
