Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and debugging application software and systems that address complex challenges through logical and mathematical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and debug application software and systems that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Analyze user needs and system capabilities to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable software solutions.
  • Develop essential components such as firmware, utility programs, and operating systems.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Linux systems and a strong aptitude for thriving in dynamic, agile team environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, or C++.
  • Experience with version control practices using GIT and agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality software solutions.
