Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to fill the position of Fibrous Plasterer / Ceiling & Wall Fixer. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that work is completed according to drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that all work meets the required standards of quality and safety.
- Evaluate the suitability of materials used in the project, considering factors such as resistance and service life.
- Plan and execute work efficiently, meeting set targets and deadlines.
- Purchase and select materials for each project.
- Work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and plastic laminates.
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace and take steps to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the trade, preferably as a Fibrous Plasterer / Ceiling & Wall Fixer.
- Prior experience in access floor installation is highly desirable.
- The ability to accurately read plans and measure/cut materials accordingly.
- An excellent understanding of work procedures and protocols.
- Strong mathematical and critical thinking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
