We are seeking Support Workers to join our team as contractors in South West Sydney. This Casual Contract Position is available for experienced Support Workers who can provide high-quality care to clients residing in Supported Independent Living Homes.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about improving the quality of life of people living with all levels of disability, enabling them to strive towards their dreams and goals of independent living.

The position will be based at one of our houses in South West, NSW, where established teams of staff support these homes with the backing of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Supporting clients to regulate their emotions
  • Providing active support for clients to develop their general living skills
  • Supporting clients with personal care and mealtime support
  • Providing support to access the community and recreation programs

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Disability Support or relevant industry qualification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with people with High/ challenging behaviors
  • Experience working with clients /participants with mobility issues is essential
  • A current National Police Clearance Certificate
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • Eligible working rights in Australia
  • Current driver's license and a fully insured and reliable motor vehicle
