Responsibilities and Requirements

The Masonry Laboratory Manager will be responsible for supervising the Adbri Masonry construction materials testing laboratory, ensuring safe working systems and procedures are adhered to at all times.

You will manage product quality and compliance to specifications and standards, conduct regular inspections and calibration of test equipment, and provide technical assistance and training to laboratory technicians & machine operators per approved procedures and test methods.

You will also assist with the development of concrete mixes for our concrete masonry product range and maintain laboratory NATA accreditation and quality compliance to ISO9001 for the manufacture of concrete masonry products.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction materials testing, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience. A Cert III in Laboratory Techniques (or equivalent) is also required. Additionally, you will possess strong leadership attributes, including good people management skills, passion for mentoring and developing staff, and high emotional intelligence.
