Portfolio Administrator Role Overview

This Portfolio Administrator position plays a crucial part in maintaining high service standards, supporting tax reporting, and ensuring data integrity for external non-custody platform services clients.

The role involves providing exceptional client service by managing product administration queries, processing client instructions, and resolving issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconstruct historical cost base data for capital gains tax reporting, support tax reporting processes, and liaise with external providers to ensure accurate and timely report delivery.
  • Process account closures, service fees, and ensure compliance with monetary directives authority monitoring and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and seamless operations.
  • Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations, identify potential risks, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in portfolio administration or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft applications, including intermediate level skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with investment platforms (IPS) and Iress software.
  • Familiarity with corporate actions and their impact on cost bases.
