Feedmill Operations Specialist

Job Overview
">We are seeking an experienced Feedmill Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the feed mill in accordance with established work practices, assisting with maintenance and repairs, and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of feed to farm sites.
">Key Responsibilities

- Operate the feed mill in accordance with established work practices;">
- Assist with maintenance and repairs of feedmill equipment, building and surrounds;">
- Safely and competently operate a forklift;">
- Ensure safe and efficient delivery of feed to farm sites, in accordance with established schedules and work practices;">
- Monitor and advise on stock levels as required;">
- Weigh trucks through the weighbridge as and when required;">
- Test grain in accordance with established work practices;">
- Prepare and bag product as required.">
About You
">We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, physically fit, and able to perform a variety of physical tasks including heavy lifting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders and being comfortable with heights, and pushing or pulling.
">You will also possess basic computer skills and have the ability to work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced and sometimes time-pressured environment, performing tasks with a high degree of care and attention to detail.
">Additionally, you will be accountable for the work completed and demonstrate effective communication skills.

">To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

- A valid Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck with sufficient operational experience;">
- Basic computer skills;">

- Accountability for the work completed;">
- Effective communication skills.">
Preferred Qualifications
">While not essential, possessing a mechanical aptitude would be advantageous in this role.
