We are seeking an accomplished academic leader to spearhead the School's Learning and Teaching initiative, contributing to university-wide strategic direction.

This is a dynamic opportunity to drive innovation in teaching and learning, enhance student experience, and support staff development as the school embarks on a period of growth and renewal.

  • Develop and lead the School's Learning & Teaching strategy, aligned with University priorities and goals.
  • Oversee curriculum quality, course development, and student learning outcomes, ensuring academic excellence.
  • Support and guide academic staff to enhance teaching, retention, and student satisfaction, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to School and University leadership, collaboration, and strategic initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment.

The successful incumbent will have:

  • PhD (or equivalent) with a proven track record in teaching and learning excellence, demonstrated through research, publications, or other relevant outputs.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, enhancing staff and student outcomes through effective communication, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Expertise in current learning and teaching trends, including digital technologies, instructional design, and assessment strategies.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external collaborations to support the school's goals, leveraging networks and partnerships for mutual benefit.
