Senior Formulation/Process Scientist Role

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in formulation and process development, with expertise in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers.

About the Job:
  • This is a senior level role that requires providing technical guidance and leadership in the development of formulations and processes.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical and formulation knowledge for product transfers, new product launches, validations, and process improvement activities.

In addition to their technical expertise, the Senior Formulation/Process Scientist must possess excellent project management skills, including the ability to direct planning and development of troubleshooting initiatives, and formulation and process improvement activities at manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Provide oversight of technical and formulation knowledge for product transfers, new product launches, validations, and process improvement activities.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects, directing planning and development of troubleshooting initiatives, and formulation and process improvement activities at manufacturing sites.
  • Collaboration: Participate in introduction of new products or product health projects, and work as part of an interdepartmental team to support local investigation and validation priorities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical experience with emphasis on drug development, process development, and manufacturing.
  • Maths Knowledge: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and perform statistical computations. Advanced mathematical skills preferred.

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and train local technical services and manufacturing personnel in formulation process control, and design concepts.
