Job Summary:

  • We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients in the education, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.

About the Role:

">
  1. As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for tracking jobs from warm databases, proactively sourcing new leads, projects, and business across NSW and Regional areas.
  2. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, and people within the industry, monitoring sites that would create leads and sales opportunities.
  3. You'll be involved in the sales process, including contracts, negotiating, tendering, site requirements, and specifications to best suit.
  4. You'll work closely with other departments within the business, collaborating across projects to ensure the best outcomes for both the client and the company.
  5. You'll report and forecast on targets and leads in sales meetings with local and other branches across Australia.

  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and solution-selling are essential skills for this role.
  • You'll need to be a professional communicator who can build trust and influence.
  • You'll identify and target key customers by understanding their needs/requirements.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills are required, working across multiple projects.
  • You'll make smart commercial decisions, evaluating project profitability, or negotiating contracts, to ensure the best outcomes for both the client and the company.
