Sustainability Coordinator Role

The Opportunity

This project delivers services across the full water cycle, including major pipelines, large pumping stations, and advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment. As Sustainability Coordinator, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team providing technical advice, undertaking sustainability assessments, and participating in teams across various projects nationally.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability data and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in sustainability programs such as Workforce Culture & Wellbeing Plan and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Plan working groups.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in development and implementation of Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
  • Work with other departments to align waste management initiatives with project priorities.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with other project functions and support the communication of sustainability matters to management and project staff.
  • Support the Sustainability Manager in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives, policies, and plans.
Key Qualifications:

We are seeking a professional with proven industry experience in sustainability from a building services, mechanical/electrical engineering, transport, water, construction, or infrastructure background. Ideal candidates are delivery-focused, climate change literate, and familiar with environmental regulations and Green Star or Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) sustainability rating tools.
