The Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Curriculum Leader to join our leadership team. As the Head of Curriculum - Middle and Senior School, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our curriculum framework, ensuring it aligns with national standards and our school's vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in curriculum design and pedagogical practices to ensure high-quality educational programs
  • Oversee the curriculum framework for middle and senior schools, ensuring alignment with national standards and our school's vision
  • Collaborate with department heads to innovate and enhance curriculum offerings
  • Inspire and lead teachers in adopting cutting-edge, research-informed teaching practices
  • Facilitate professional development and mentoring for continual pedagogical advancement
  • Engage effectively with all stakeholders to enhance educational outcomes and community involvement
  • Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College Melbourne, contributing positively to our community

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in curriculum development and pedagogy across different educational levels
  • Possess a Degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field; a Master's or Doctorate is desirable
  • Experience in leading a team of passionate educators
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ideally within an independent school environment
