Job Description: Implementation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant to join our Manufacturing Division – Customer Success Team based out of our Mount Waverley office. As a key member of our project team, you will play a vital role in configuring our ERP applications, developing operating procedures, and training customer implementation teams to meet specific business goals and customer needs.

In this role, you will bring accounting knowledge and a wealth of experience across finance domains, including chart of accounts design, banking processes, and other areas of compliance needs. You will provide implementation consultation, project management, and support services to our customers. Previous experience with the Macola or MAX ERP applications is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review current business processes and align with best practices and requirements to integrate them into a seamless ERP implementation.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and challenges.
  • Diverse business process understanding including finance, manufacturing supply chain, warehouse/inventory management, and sales.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of best practice recommendations for common ERP business processes across multiple manufacturing environments.
  • Communicate effectively and build consensus with clients.
  • Train customer implementation teams on core body of knowledge concepts and principles and on the operation of our ERP applications.
  • Assist in change management initiatives to assist client with a smooth transition to new system.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the implementation runs smoothly, addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Travel to customer locations to deliver consulting services approximately 50% of the time.
  • Learn new product offering and functionality as software updates are available.
  • Monitor and report status or implementations, maintaining clear communication with customer and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong ERP product knowledge, ERP experience preferred.
  • Understand common industry business practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in support or implementation role.
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to users with varying levels of technical expertise via telephone and in-person.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, delivers high-quality work, self-motivated, and an internal desire to succeed.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations.
