Our mission is to develop and train excellent, caring and ethical doctors through our Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. This graduate-entry program combines Basic and Clinical Sciences, Communication and Clinical Skills, Population and Public Health, and Personal and Professional Development.

We are seeking a highly motivated Curriculum Support Specialist to join our team at the Darlinghurst Campus. As a key member of the Medical Education Unit, you will provide administrative support to the curriculum design, alignment and delivery of the Basic and Clinical Sciences Teaching in the Foundation Years.

**Key Responsibilities: **

  • Coordinate curriculum timetabling for all BCS lectures, practical sessions, workshops and tutorials across the Foundation Years program (Year 1 and Year 2).
  • Support the Head of BCS Domain, including coordinating Lecturer invitations, lab tutors and demonstrators' recruitment, contracts and allocation.
  • Prepare materials for all BCS teaching activities, including prelab online readings, practical manuals, workshop and tutorial notes, online quizzes.
  • Assist in planning the yearly teaching calendar, including all BCS teaching activities.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of orientation programs, in conjunction with MEU members.
  • Maintain the curriculum mapping and management system.

**Requirements: **

  • A degree qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in tertiary or other health education sectors.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to plan work activity, prioritise tasks and work within tight timeframes.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and flexibility, with capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Evidence of producing clear and concise written communication with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and initiative, constructively solve problems and make effective decisions based on knowledge of policy and procedures.
  • High level of computer literacy and advanced user knowledge in Outlook, Microsoft Office suite, learning management systems.

**About the Role:**

This is a part-time opportunity (0.6 FTE), continuing position with a salary range of $84,837 to $93,296 per annum, plus 14.25% superannuation pro rata. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the development and delivery of medical education.
