Curriculum Specialist

This permanent, full-time position involves a dynamic educator who is passionate about teaching high-quality English curriculum to students in Years 7-12. The role focuses on building literacy outcomes and fostering student growth in a supportive environment.

About the Position

The position offers stability and the opportunity to teach across various age groups, including senior courses such as Standard and Advanced English. Daily Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering English lessons across Years 7-12.
  • Teaching senior English courses (Standard and Advanced).
  • Implementing differentiated learning strategies for diverse student needs.
  • Integrating technology and literacy techniques for enhanced classroom engagement.
  • Assessing and reporting student achievement according to NSW curriculum standards.
  • Participating in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
  • Contributing to extracurricular programs such as debating clubs or writing workshops.
  • Maintaining a positive learning environment and adhering to classroom discipline.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education with English specialisation (or equivalent).
  • NSW teaching accreditation through NESA.
  • Proven ability to deliver English curriculum from Years 7-12.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Experience in using technology-enhanced learning approaches.
  • Permanent Residency or Australian work rights.
