At Hager, we are shaping tomorrow's electrical world. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in this journey. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical and design support for our standard and non-standard products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design switchboards as per client specifications, adhering to AS/NZS61439-2016 assembly standards and quality requirements.
  • Generate standard drawings of switchboards, including general arrangement, single line diagrams, and bills of materials using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team while upholding our principles, strategy, and culture.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by liaising with customers and the sales team to achieve successful sales outcomes.
  • Prepare quotations for standard Hager 'off the shelf' products combined with 'bought-in' items and value-add components in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Certifications in Electrical Design, Estimating, and Project Management are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, design, and production of electrical switchboards.
  • Expertise in electrical design principles and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Streamgineer, and SAP.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
