About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hospitality Trainee to join our team on Kangaroo Island. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers while working towards your Certificate III in Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve customers in our onboard cafe, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Assist with passenger embarkation and disembarkation, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Conduct daily stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Provide traditional table service, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or full Australian working rights.
  • Motivation, enthusiasm, and reliability, with a strong work ethic.
  • A car and driver's license (mandatory).
  • The ability to swim competently.
  • Comfort with working at heights and in confined spaces.
Training and Development
  • Ongoing mentoring from experienced industry professionals.
  • Formal training and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • A dedicated field consultant to support you throughout your traineeship.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
