About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our high-performing Maintenance teams at Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL) in Gladstone, Queensland. As an Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and replace electrical equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems
  • Execute planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical assets
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to identify and implement improvement initiatives
  • Promote and identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and behaviors to enhance safety and efficiency
Requirements
  • Australian 'A' grade Electrical licence
  • Valid C Class drivers licence
  • Proven history of fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment
  • Proven maintenance experience working in heavy/industrial industry
  • Commitment to safety and a strong focus on delivering high-quality work
