Equipment Support Specialist

The role of the Equipment Support Specialist is to derive and analyse logistics support data and trends on equipment/systems for naval frigates.
This involves conducting investigations/studies, analysing source data collected for fitted equipment/systems, and determining operating, maintenance, engineering, training and support requirements for their life cycle.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations and ensure the effective operation and sustainment of equipment and systems fitted to naval frigates.
- Conduct analyses to determine operating, maintenance, engineering, training and support requirements for equipment and systems.
- Perform Failure Modes Effect Analysis and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) analysis, Task analysis and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
Requirements:
- Integrated Logistics/Product Support experience or supportability/maintenance engineering analysis experience.
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to analyse technical data and provide sound recommendations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships.
- Critical thinking skills, flexible and driven to improve current processes and solve problems.
