Job Title: Creative Producer

The Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre is seeking a visionary and driven Creative Producer to facilitate artistic development, foster local talent, and build strategic partnerships that contribute to a thriving performing arts ecosystem.

The successful applicant will be responsible for commissioning new works, enabling professional development, and providing access to resources such as the Ngurang Arts Residency facility.

  • Practical Requirements:">

    • Understanding of contemporary performing arts practice and knowledge of local and national performing arts trends.">
    • Experience in devising, producing, animating, dramaturging, production managing, directing, or equivalent roles.">
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with artists, staff, and stakeholders.">
    • Advanced skills in documentation, planning, programming, budgeting, grant applications, and acquittals.">
    • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and email management.">
    • Current C class driver's license for transportation purposes.">
    • Fixed-term 2-year contract position with potential for extension subject to continued funding.">
