Job Opportunity
The Acute Care Team is seeking a Senior Mental Health Clinician to join on a permanent basis. This role provides advanced level intake/triage, assessment and crisis management functions within the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care through advanced level intake/triage, assessment and crisis management.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the needs of individuals with mental health issues.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care.
Team Information:
The Acute Care Team is the first point of contact to public mental health services 24/7. The team undertakes triage and may facilitate referral to a more appropriate internal or external service.
