Key Responsibilities

  • Degree and Registration: Hold a relevant University degree and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration
  • Planning and Preparation: Apply appropriate knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs tailored to meet the diverse characteristics, needs, and learning styles of students who are at risk of disengaging from education
  • Inclusive Teaching Practices: Implement effective and inclusive teaching processes, including the use of learning technology and assessment, to establish a supportive learning environment
  • Communication and Behaviour Management: Effectively communicate with students using interpersonal skills and behaviour management strategies that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive learning environment
