Job Description

As a Cost Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional value to our clients. This exciting opportunity is perfect for experienced professionals who are passionate about quantity surveying, cost planning, and project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing cost estimates, procurement strategies, and contract administration procedures
  • Conducting feasibility studies, writing procurement reports, and estimating costs for large-scale projects
  • Managing tendering and procurement processes, including producing tender lists, analyzing bids, and compiling contractual documents
  • Overseeing personal responsibility for cost checking, valuations, and monthly post-contract cost reporting
  • Interfacing with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders at all project stages
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognized degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • MRICS/AIQS accreditation ideal
  • Relevant work experience in a consultancy environment
  • Proficient in the use of CostX software
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated, driven, and results-oriented professional
