Wall and Ceiling Lining Instructor

We are seeking an experienced trade professional to play a key role in training and mentoring apprentices undertaking the CPC31220 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a wide range of practical and theoretical skills, including fixing wall and ceiling sheets, installing ornamental cornices, suspended ceilings, fibre cement board, and interpreting construction plans.
  • Guide students in developing essential workplace skills such as communication, problem solving, and safe work practices.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
Requirements
  • A strong trade background in wall and ceiling lining, with extensive industry experience.
  • Proven ability to instruct students from varied backgrounds using adaptable strategies, supporting multicultural awareness and equity in learning.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
  • An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
