The Opportunity

  • As the Australasian Water Business Engineering Lead, you will oversee the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary water and wastewater projects, coordinating design teams across multiple offices and disciplines to deliver design packages that meet contract requirements.
  • You will manage project risks and work with team members and partners to resolve any escalated issues, ensuring the commercial success of projects and leveraging your experience in negotiating and managing various contractual arrangements.
  • Furthermore, you will support Business Development and Team Leadership activities within the Australasian water business.

Requirements

  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant institution, or equivalent professional body.
  • Thorough appreciation of and extensive experience working across the value chain of strategically and commercially important water and wastewater infrastructure investments;
  • Experience in implementing best practice design processes, standards, and workflows.
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
  • Recognised as an expert within the water industry.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience in Collaborative and Design and Construct contracting arrangements.
