About This Role

This position involves creating detailed designs for mechanical wet and dry plant layouts, from initial sketches to completion. You will provide input on design and layout issues, ensuring that your work meets client requirements, discipline regulations, and good practices.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create 3D models of mechanical plant layouts
  • Develop comprehensive designs from concept to delivery
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams working on complex projects

You will be working on the Detailed Design phase of major projects, including Copper, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals projects. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts in various disciplines and contribute to technically challenging work packages.

Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent in design/drafting from a recognised institution
  • Proven experience in mechanical design drafting, preferably in mining and minerals processing
  • Strong understanding of technology and requirements in your field
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microstation/Aecosim 2D and 3D Design tools
