Marketing Video Producer Role Description

At our video production agency, we specialize in creating engaging performance marketing ads for mobile games, apps and tech brands.

We produce 100% of our video ads in-house, covering a range of formats from funny skits to high-production commercials for our global client base.

This role is for an experienced Video Director + Video Editor who has:

  1. 4+ years experience minimum with an agency, freelance or in-house
  2. Excellent creative mind that can create engaging videos and direct productions
  3. Excellent project management skills and client communication skills
  4. Pacing for short social ads and deep knowledge of creating strong concepts and hooks
  5. Keen ambition to grow, learn and improve creatively
  6. Love for games, TikTok, Reels, YouTube, social media and the latest video formats that get attention

Responsibilities include taking charge in filming and directing video ads on set and at locations for clients, managing production timelines and ensuring ads are of high quality and completed on time.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a high level of understanding of camera operation & control of lighting, ability to work with both professional cameras for high-end productions and iPhone capture for an authentic/social filming style.

The Video Editor secondary skill includes being highly skilled with Adobe Premiere Pro, sound design, green screen, basic After Effects and moderate motion graphics.

Key qualifications for this role include proactive problem solving, initiative and signs of a strong leader that the team will enjoy working with.

Our company offers a full-time in-office position (Mon-Fri) with our 8-person team located in Brisbane. Ideally, this role will commence immediately.
