**Your Role**

At Megaport, we don't just do videos. We craft visual stories that transport our ideas across screens, continents, and time zones, all while keeping our audience on the edge of their seats (or standing desks - we don't judge).

We're a crew of tech-loving, meme-sharing, pixel-pushing nerds on a mission to reinvent global connectivity and we're searching for a Video and Audio Producer who can help us tell our story with the kind of flair that makes people stop scrolling and start watching.

This isn't your average "cut and crop" gig. This is where your creative chops, camera skills, and editing wizardry collide to produce content that educates, entertains, and elevates our brand in 26 countries (and counting). We want someone ready to bring fresh ideas, chase crazy shots, and turn rough footage into cinematic gold.

So if you've ever built a DIY green screen in your garage, keep a camera battery in every backpack you own, or can't watch a movie without analysing the jump cutswelcome home.

**What You'll Be Doing (a.k.a. your Quest Log)**:

- Own video and audio production for our company globally. From concept to delivery: script, film, record, animate, edit, and polish.
- Create videos for campaigns, product launches, explainers, customer stories, and events.
- Record, edit, and produce audio content for our podcast and other audio projects.
- Collaborate with marketers, designers, product experts, and other creatives to bring ideas to life.
- Run shoots, record interviews, and direct on-camera talent.
- Add motion graphics and simple animations to make our stories shine.
- Edit video and audio with clean cuts, great pacing, and sound that hooks people in.
- Stay on top of trends in video, podcasting, and social content so you can bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Keep gear, files, and projects organized and ready to go.
- Be our go-to expert for cameras, mics, lights, and troubleshooting any technical hiccups.
- Domestic and international travel will be required in this role.

**What We Are Looking For (a.k.a. your Power Ups)**:

- ** Must have a portfolio of previous work** that proves you can produce professional video and audio content.
- At least 3 years of experience in video and audio production for brands, agencies, or studios.
- Hands-on experience filming, lighting, and recording interviews and voiceovers.
- Skilled with editing software like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Audition, After Effects, or similar.
- Good understanding of motion graphics and basic animation to enhance videos.
- A good ear for audio. You know how to record, clean up, and mix sound that hits the mark.
- Comfortable running shoots and recording sessions on your own or with a crew.
- Creative and resourceful. You can come up with ten good ideas, then pick the best one for the circumstances and actually execute on it.
- Strong communicator. You know how to pitch ideas, take feedback, and make complex ideas easy to follow.
- Organized and self-motivated. You can juggle multiple projects and keep your files in check.
- A good sense of humor. Bonus points if you have a favorite microphone (and are prepared to debate about it) and a hot take on the best aspect ratio for TikTok.

**Nice to have, but not essential traits and experience (a.k.a. your Bonuses)**:

- Experience working in B2B SaaS either directly or via an agency.
- Experience working in telecommunications or computer networking.
- Creative experience storyboarding and pitching concepts.
- General/basic stills photography experience.
