Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Health Services Director to join our team at Cairns Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the development and maintenance of specialist health services in accordance with contemporary standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and assume overall clinical responsibility for the Sexual Health Service Stream.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve clinical practices, ensuring they align with best practice and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance service delivery and quality outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in sexual health services.
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of contemporary standards and regulations in healthcare.
