Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced educational leader to join our team in a full-time position. The successful candidate will lead and manage the effective operation of the designated Learning Area of Science at the Secondary Campus.

The key responsibilities include overseeing curriculum design and implementation, fostering a consistent and coherent set of learning experiences, supervising and supporting teachers, and participating in Curriculum Team meetings.

">

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the curriculum, assessment, standards, and reporting requirements defined by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority of Western Australia.

">

You will also be expected to demonstrate your ability to lead a team to collaborate and create challenging and inspiring learning experiences in Science, and to promote skill development, integration across disciplines, and the use of diverse teaching and learning strategies.

Additionally, you will need to maintain a positive, collaborative Christian culture within the team, and participate in strategic and operational planning.

We look for candidates who are a great cultural fit, with active involvement in a local Protestant Christian church, holding a TRBWA registration (Teacher's Registration Board), and including a cover letter demonstrating experience in the 'key responsibilities' specified on page 3 of the position description.
