About the Role

PHE is a renowned service provider to the construction, mining, energy, and infrastructure industries, boasting a rich history of delivering skilled personnel, light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and equipment.

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Leading Hand Mechanics looking to join a reputable company during an exciting period of growth. This position will be based out of our Gympie Workshop, where you will be responsible for completing mechanical repairs, services, and diagnostics on a diverse range of Heavy and light vehicles, plant equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop maintenance documentation to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all equipment meets QA and Safety requirements, guaranteeing a safe working environment for everyone.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant trade qualifications, preferably in light vehicle technology.
  • Significant experience in mechanical repairs, maintenance, and field service of Light Vehicles, Trucks, Telehandlers, and Elevated Work Platforms.
  • The ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of work quality.
  • A Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card) is mandatory.
  • An HC Licence would be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in the industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Reliability, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and self-motivation are essential qualities for this role.
  • The ability to hold or obtain a National Police Clearance is required.
