Childcare Services Director Opportunity
The YMCA WA seeks an experienced Childcare Services Director to lead the growth and development of our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a positive impact in our community.
About the Role
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading a management team to ensure all 20 OSHC services are progressive and align with our mission growth strategies. Your key objectives will include:
- Inspiring the OSHC team with a consistent and collaborative leadership ethos to lift overall engagement and service support.
- Reviewing current OSHC services operational effectiveness and formulating a productive OSHC growth & development plan.
- Monitoring practices and compliance as per the National Quality Framework, state regulations, child ratios, WHS policies, and legislation.
- Managing all Deed of Licenses, lease arrangements, CCB, and sustainability applications.
- Leading the promotion, growth & development of the Y WA OSHC Services with key stakeholders.
- Preparing annual budgets, monthly monitoring, and distributing monthly budget statements.
- Ensuring 'The Y Way to Social Impact' is embedded across OSHC services.
As the successful candidate, you will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Leadership, Early Childhood Education, or similar.
- Extensive experience within the Early Childhood sector, with at least 3 years' experience in a management or leadership position.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, Children Services law, and other relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practice.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and Qikkids.
